Current Situation in Bhutan

The Omicron virus has not only reached Bhutan but also affected the lives of almost all people residing in the central parts of Bhutan. Well it doesn't mean there is no cure for it as you know right, when there is problem, there will always be a solution because when time passes everything gets better. Even the schools in Bhutan are under lockdown affecting the Class X and Class XII exams. The Ministry of Education is looking forward for it. However, the cases are still escalating in and our localities which is very sad and bad to think about it.

The primary issue is not the spread of virus. In fact the main issue itself is the Bhutanese because natives of Bhutan are being irresponsible since many Bhutanese are hanging around not concerning about the perilous virus that is still existing and also avoiding covid protocols. Can we really stop the virus? Yes I believe we can stop the virus, as Bhutan can bring the normal scenario back if Bhutanese could stay home safely without getting outside unnecessarily but I don't mean Bhutanese should stay like doldrums inside their home. Indeed Bhutanese will be considered as rational citizens if they could go out only when it is necessary. 

Online class at Sherubtse College 

When it comes to Universities in Bhutan. Almost every single College has been conducting online classes with an intention to not to affect their semester schedule as this is the only option to carry on their lesson plans fruitfully. Many of us are sick this with virus. Thus, it will be better if Bhutanese could really be sensitive enough to fight back this virus instead of being reckless. Imagine Bhutan without people, who will serve the country, the government and our beloved Monarchs in the future? In order to bring the stability back, there is a key to open the stable economy which is only through collaboration and mutual understanding because this is how the situation of Bhutan. Nevertheless, gradually Bhutanese economy can be uptrended again if Bhutanese can follow up some simple steps.

Two Legendary Warriors of Bhutan

The two Legendary warriors of Bhutan have played important roles. Both Pala and Pila were born as the descendants and close relatives of brotherhood through Kurtoe Dungkar Choeje. Both Pala and Pila have come from the noble blood offspring and direct Buddha lineage of Terchen Pema Lingpa. For several generations, Dungkar Choeje family remained renowned for having individuals of extraordinary character. Even today Pala and Pila are remembered as celebrited legendary heroes of Bhutan. Great Buddha Dordenma

Buddha Point at Thimphu city of Bhutan  It is a gigantic Shakyamuni Buddha statue in the mountains of Thimphu city, the capital of Bhutan. This monument is commonly known as Buddha Point. The primary intention for installing this Shakyamuni Buddha statue was to celebrate the 60th anniversary of fourth King Jigme Singye Wangchuk. 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the 4th Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuk  The construction started in 2006 and was predicted to finish in the month of October, 2010. Nevertheless, it took extra 5 year. Thus, it was completed on 25th September, 2015. The materials used for constructing Buddha Dordenma are bronze and was gilded with gold. The height of the Buddha's statue its 54 metres(1774) and the reason for the installment of Buddha's statue was highly dedicated to pass the message to the people in order to bring peace and prosperity to the world.
